Learning Guitar With Me

I have extensive experience teaching private classical guitar lessons to students of all ages—from elementary through high school, as well as adults. I love teaching and make it a priority to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students can have fun while learning. My goal is to help each student grow their skills and musicianship, but also to discover the joy of making music along the way.

Pricing

Lessons are offered at a flat rate of $50 per lesson, with the length tailored to the student’s age and learning needs. This flexible approach ensures that each student receives the right amount of attention and guidance for their stage of development.

Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Curriculum

My studio follows the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) curriculum, a nationally recognized program that offers a clear, structured path for musical growth. Students progress through graded levels that build technical skills, musicianship, and artistry, with optional performance and theory exams adjudicated by RCM faculty. These certificate milestones keep students motivated, give parents a tangible way to track progress, and strengthen academic and college resumes. Learning classical guitar in this way helps students develop focus, creativity, and confidence, while adding real depth to their overall education. For young students, parents are welcome—and even encouraged—to sit in on lessons, so they can see what their children should focus on each week and better support their learning at home.

Book Trial Lesson

If you’re interested in getting started, I offer a trial lesson so students and families can experience my teaching style and see how lessons are structured. This first meeting gives us a chance to get to know each other, discuss goals, and outline a plan tailored to the student’s age and experience. There’s no long-term commitment required—just an opportunity to explore whether this is the right fit for your musical journey.

Meeting Location Flexibility

Lessons can be scheduled in a way that best fits your family’s routine. I’m happy to travel to your home for convenience, or we can meet at my teaching studio on the campus of Anderson University, which provides a quiet, professional setting ideal for focused learning. I’m also in the process of securing a designated teaching space in the Clemson area to make lessons even more accessible for local students.

Studio Policy

For the safety and clarity of both students and families, I have a studio policy outlining lesson expectations, scheduling, and procedures—helping to protect everyone involved and ensure a smooth learning experience.
